In general we advise getting a full eight hours every night, but sometimes life gets in the way.
So feel free to hit that snooze button, because here’s a five-minute beauty routine to ensure that you look fresh and wide-awake in the am.
Keep your make-up light. A tinted moisturizer, a bit of blush and a swipe of lip balm are plenty.
Tarte cheek stain, $30
Don’t bother with the blow-dryer, just pull your hair back into a sleek ponytail. Pulling your hair back lifts up your face and looks put-together in just a few seconds.
Focus on your eyes, because this is where fatigue shows the most. Press a cold spoon or washcloth to wake up your eyes and calm any puffiness.
Apply concealer to cover any dark circles or bags and dab a little on your upper lid to hide any discoloration. Remember to use your ring finger and gently pat so you don’t pull the delicate skin.
Mark concealer, $6
Hourglass concealer, $32
Curl your eyelashes to open them up, and apply a soft champagne or gold eyeshadow from lashes to crease.
Use the same eye shadow or a highlighter to dot a little shimmer on the inner corner of each eye.
Benefit highlighter, $24
If you have a few extra minutes, dust a tiny bit of highlighter along the tops of your cheekbones to make your skin glow.
Then line your eyes with a peach, white or navy liner. Peach and white open up eyes for that fresh faced look, while navy makes eyes look whiter and awake
M.A.C. kohl eyeliner, $14.50
