Kate Hudson and her boyfriend, musician Matthew Bellamy, are expecting a child, Us Weekly reports.
The 31-year-old actress, who has been dating the Muse frontman, 32, for nine months, is reportedly 14 weeks along in her pregnancy.
"It was not planned, but they are excited and embracing it," an insider told the mag.
The actress already has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, from her marriage to rocker Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes. Their divorce was finalized in 2007.
And while Robinson, who is remarried, gave Ryder a sibling in December 2009 with the birth of daughter Cheyenne, Hudson is reportedly excited that now it's her turn.
"She is happy for Ryder to finally have a brother or sister," the source added.
