W Hotel Brand, Austin Jewelry Line

Here’s a look at the new Southwest-inspired jewelry line from Austinite Shaesby Scott. The line called SW by Shaesby will debut at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York in February as part of a showing by the W Hotels brand.
The new diffusion line of cuffs, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and other selections is part of the W’s exclusive Global Glam Collection, which is sold at designated W hotels. Pieces from the SW line are made from brass, turquoise, wood, guitar stings, resin and leather. (Sounds very Austin inspired.) The W’s fashion director Amanda Ross curates the Global Glam Collection.
According to the Shaesby’s website, “The line was designed in the Austin studio taking creative cues from the surrounding environment and culture.”
SW by Shaesby is expected to arrive in W Hotels by the summer. There’s an existing Global Glam Collection store online. In December, the W Austin Hotel & Residences opened at 200 Lavaca St.
