2010 was all about Kim Kardashian, and it seems that 2011 is well on its way to being the year of the Kim, too. Exhibit One: Kardashian is gracing Glamour's January '11 "Guy Issue," on newsstands next week. And who better to chat woman-to-woman with the reality star than serious journalist Katie Couric, who delves into Kardashian's sex symbol status, many, many endorsements, Playboy, and, but of course, dating (One gem of a Kardashian query: "How do you get to know someone on a reality show?") Photographed on her 30th birthday by Terry Tsiolis, Kardashian claims this wasn't what she envisioned for herself in her third decade: "If you had asked me five years ago what I would be doing at 30, I would have said, 'Married with a kid or two.'" She of the plump limps and mini-Dash boutique empire also dishes on her bod: "There are definitely times when I don't feel like myself, but you have to fake it until you make it," though we think she's definitely stepping it up a notch in Tom Ford pajamas, a La Perla bra and a Sarah Chloe ring—and yes, that's a Dolce & Gabbana bustier in the two-page spread. The only gripe we have with the interview is when Kardashian discusses the constant cameras recording her every move: "If there's something that we're going through, it's going to get out anyway. It'll be on the cover of a tabloid, and it'll be twisted the completely wrong way. So why not tell our story?" Hate to say it, but didn't your whole career get started from, err, a video?
